Trusts

Grants from Charitable Trusts and Foundations enable us to deliver innovative new projects as well as supporting our core work with children in care. This income is vital to our work.

Examples of funded work

  • Ladbrokes in the Community Charitable Trust supported BAAF's core family finding work with a grant of £100,000
  • Our Find Me a Family Days project is being supported by a number of trusts and foundations, including The Henry Smith Charity, The Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust, The Rayne Foundation, The Linbury Trust, Charles Wolfson Charitable Trust and the Evan Cornish Foundation
  • Our Fostering Education project was funded by the KPMG Foundation, the SHINE Trust, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Clore Duffield Foundation. This project developed a training programme for foster carers focusing on supporting primary school-age children in care to improve their confidence and self esteem through reading skills.
  • BAAF's Health Programme for children in care, a core part of our work, is currently supported by trusts including CHK Charities Ltd, The Finborough Foundation and The Welton Foundation
  • Our Fostering Development work is currently being funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
  • Our Adoption work is being supported by The Dulverton Trust, The Sylvia Adams Trust and The Adint Trust
